BGR002
Timothy Allan - Forward
BeatGeek is proud to announce the addition of Canadian born prog-meister Timothy Allan to our roster.
Timothy is fast becoming a stalwart of the Australian scene and his forward thinking beats are some of the most technically brilliant productions currently coming out of Melbourne. Tim's first release with BeatGeek – Forward – is all of these things and more. A tech-prog bomb which is as much a pleasure to spin as it is to listen to.
Under different guises, he has released re-mixes for Dirty South, Faker, Carl Kennedy, Isaac James, Offer Nissim, Gavin Martin, Asi Givati, Stereo Soldiers, Andrea Carnell, Pitch Dark, Neon Stereo, and even has one of his tracks, Pilgrimage, regularly featured on the Aussie hit series Neighbors.
As if this wasn’t enough Tim is also one half of the Melbourne based Hong Kong Blondes who, since being signed to Vicious Vinyl, have hit the ground running with successful ARIA charting club tracks such as Superfine, Lose Me, Colette and Frisbee.
After spinning Tim’s tunes for years we can’t think of a more fitting artist to contribute BGR002.

Timothy Allan - Forward (Vitreous Remix)
Delivering a mix that echoes the lush melodic tech sounds coming out of his native Europe at the moment, Vitreous aka Chris Buckridge, has undeniably hit the nail on the head with this one.
An Australian musician and producer living in Amsterdam and a member of Australian outfit My Ninja Lover whose track '2x2' received wide national and international exposure in 2006, vitreous has definitely found his caper exploring a deeper, tech-influenced sound.

Timothy Allan - Forward (Kultrun Remix)
Australian based producer Tony Stevens who’s background, having studied and played music since he was a lad, is obvious in all his productions and listening through his catalogue it quickly becomes apparent that his genres know no bounds.
This stripped back and quirky mix is infectious and it’s off tempo swells of rhythm keeps the dance floor on it’s toes. We’re glad to have secured Kultrun’s talents for this release.
