BIO

It all pretty much started in the year of 1997 for Tim ward aka Aerobiotic. After he had turned 18 and also after winning the world inline skating championships it was time to direct some attention to something completely new, a avid listener of hip hop from all parts of the world for many years he slowly discovered and immersed himself in the beauty of EDM and the dance culture. With close friends always by his side he, like most young people of today, got caught up in the rave scene. Tim began to DJ at house party's, although the party's were small it was evident that he had that special ear for a good sound. After a long stint in the rave scene it was time to move onto something else, being a old hip hop fan, breakbeat of the nuskool variety was on the order. For Tim, breakbeat seamed to be the perfect combination... Catchy synth riffs, catchy basslines and a broken beat that has similarities to hip hop but just faster and a little more synthetic. In just a few years Tim managed to score DJ gigs at the peak of the breakbeat craze with one of the most respected and up for it crews in Melbourne Australia at the time "BEATSWORKING".

Scoring gigs at venues like earthcore, QBH, Lounge and Laundry. All this while not owning a set of turntables to practice on, as a matter of fact, the only time Tim would practice is when he would visit a close friend that lived 45 minutes from his house once a month or so. Realizing that the price of records at the time was just too much, and the fact the he didn't have 2 turntables and only one anyway, he decided to throw in the towel and leave it to the people that could afford to buy 5 to 10 new records a week and keep up to date with the latest music.

It wasn't until then that his closest friend after many failed attempts persuaded him to try some computer music production. After seeing what could be made from a home computer Tim was instantly hooked! It was a matter of move on or keep playing with dance music. While most of his friends from the good old days had moved on, it was impossible for him to throw all those good years at the clubs away and start something new like football or anything other than dance music. In 2005 Tim buckled down and read lots of music magazines, learnt how everything worked, and started making some music. The music at first was terrible, as you would expect! But he could feel it inside and continued on nonetheless. In 2008 Tim began to play his own material out for the first time, to clubs like Melbourne's popular room680 to outdoor bush party's in lush forests, it was all happening. Tim's style of dark basslines, lush Melody's and never too predictable beats were officially released to the world with punters more than happy to get there groove on to.

2009 was the beginning for Tim, having his first official signed track on this year and things began to move forward at a rapid pace. Always thinking of new ideas when creating a new track and staying clear from the normal everyday generic style of dance music is what will make Tim one to watch without a doubt for years to come.
