In just a few years, Kalus has turned Melbourne's dance culture upside down on its head, playing some of the most sought after gigs, at some of the biggest parties in town, to one of the most loyal and adoring fan bases the city has seen.
It was not long before Kalus ignited his journey to the top of the Melbourne clubbing fraternity, aided along the way gaining residencies at Friday night club 3D, Elevation (Thursday) and a spot at long-time Saturday nightspot, Krankin. Club goers and party throwers alike, were beginning to take notice.
The faces behind some of the biggest parties across Melbourne, and Australia were just some of those taking an interest, with Kalus going on to play for the masses at renowned events such as: Two Tribes, NRG7, Advent*Jah 2004 & 2005, Sunshine People NYD, War Of The Worlds, G.O.D, Chemistry (QLD), Tune Therapy (Cancer Fundraiser), Central Energy National Tour, Trance Urban 007&008, BPM, and Trauma, with regular guest spots at Hard Kandy, PHD, Altitude, DiscoTek - Area 61, Shamiana, and highly popular radio gigs on Syn-FM, and co host of Energetique, Kiss FM fortnightly.

Always keeping his sound versatile, fresh and diverse, Kalus versatility is astounding, showing the ability to play everything from breaks, electro, progressive, house, trance, hard dance, to his trademark hybrid sound of dark and funked tech trance, techno, and hard trance. With impeccably diverse track selection, a depth in thought, and an upfront concept -it's no surprise that Kalus is at the forefront of the Next Generation in Melbourne. His ability to not only adapt too but to engage and capture the crowd at every gig, is just one of the many reasons why he's loved by all. T he sheer energy, and presence created by Kalus during one of his performances, is mirrored by the frenzied crowd response during each and every set. His immediate and visibly electric interaction with the punters is quite infamous, rivaling some of the countries most loved and respected DJs.
Magnetism, along with his obvious musical passion, has driven Kalus to focus quite a lot this year on the production side of things, and he has been feverishly working hard in the studio with some of Australia's finest and top producers, including Nick Compound from Bass Station, with plans for his first release in late 2006.
Dedicated, passionate, strong willed and feisty, Kalus shining star may have been glistening for quite some time now, but it really is only just beginning to emerge from behind the clouds.
